“Jesus Resurrection, The Birth of a New World”

    Pastor Andrew Cunningham

Pastor Andrew shares a powerful message on what unity looks like in the new life we’ve been given.

    Message Notes / Scripture References:

    I Corinthians 15: 20-26 ESV

Without the resurrection there would be no Christianity.

    John 11:25 ESV

Easter is about God launching the New Creation into the

    world.

    John 20:1-22

The Resurrection ushered us into the New Creation World.

    I Corinthians 15:47 GNT

This means that the resurrection changes our lives in the

here and now as we live in the power of the resurrection and

we walk in newness of life.

John wants us to read his gospel in light of or filtered through

the picture of the first creation.

The words; “It is Finished” are the English translation from the

Greek word “Tetelestai” which means: to bring to an end,

    finish, or complete.

John is inviting us to see that the resurrection of Jesus began

the process of bringing the New Creation into the whole

    world.

The resurrection of Jesus was God’s first work of New

    Creation.

The Resurrection of Jesus invites us into a New Family
